Bibles for Believers recently donated 90 used Afrikaans Bibles to a church in the South African town of Toekomsrus. The Bibles were donated by neighboring churches. The Emmanuel New Life Centre has about 200 members just outside the town of Randfontein, about 45 km west of Johannesburg. According to the senior pastor, Louis Adriaanse, the church is very involved in addressing crime and social challenges in their area.

The church has several members who know the Lord, but who have never owned a Bible. These members received Bibles during a recent service. Louis reports that people were very grateful and excited to receive their copy of God's word.

Just one week before the service a member gave his heart to Christ and he joyfully received a Bible at the service. His own brother was also excited to receive his first ever Bible.

It is stories like these that make all the work worthwhile.
