Lance & Christie Thollander have been active in full time Missions work for the past 13 years. They have visited ministries throughout South Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Together they have overseen relationships with over 200 ministries in countries ranging from India to Morocco. They spent 4 years in Europe as tent maker missionaries in the 1970s. Lance is a graduate of Westmont College; Christie is a graduate of Trinity Bible College.
Johan and Lida Gous served as missionaries in Africa for over 20 years. Johan founded Timothy Training Institute to meet the need of training pastors and church leaders in eight different countries of Africa. Native South Africans, they have traveled throughout the continent of Africa networking with strategic and effective indigenous ministries. In 2001 they came to America to advocate on behalf of those who are faithfully serving the Lord in the midst of desperate circumstances. Johan left a career in electrical engineering to serve the Lord. Lida taught high school in South Africa prior to coming to HBI.
Hope Builders also has committed staff that are serving the Lord in the Turkish speaking world. This outreach includes the countries that lie on what is known as the Silk Road.
